Dr. Jennifer Avallone, MD |Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital
Dr. Avallone is a pediatric neurologist with a specialty in epilepsy. Dr. Avallone is the Medical Director of Neurodiagnostics at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Institute for Brain Protection Sciences and is an Assistant Professor of Neurology in the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
Dr. Avallone treats children and adolescents with new onset seizures, childhood epilepsy syndromes and refractory epilepsy offering several treatment modalities including medications, surgical, and dietary therapy.
She earned her medical degree at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine of the New York Institute of Technology. She completed a pediatric residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and a child neurology residency at Boston Children’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School. She also completed a clinical neurophysiology/pediatric epilepsy fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School.
Rebecca Clark-Bash, R.EEG/EP.T, CNIM, CLTM, FASNM, FASET | Knowledge Plus, Inc
Rebecca has been in the field of neurodiagnostics for over thirty years and is internationally known for her speaking and education in the field. She is the presidnet of Knowledge Plus, an international education company focusing on the use of neurodiagnostic technology in surgery, diagnostic and interventional neurology. She has served on the Board of Directors for ASNM and as former president of CSET. She has received the Baxter Healthcare Outstanding Recognition Award and has served on multiple EEG and IONM missions with UNESCO in Vietnam.
Sabrina Galloway, BS, R.EEG/EP.T, CNIM, CLTM, FASET | Neuromonitoring Technologies
Sabrina is an internationally recognized leader in the neuromonitoring field with over 40 years of experience. She is past president of ASET, SSET and Board of Directors of ASNM. She was an early pioneer in establishing 24/7 long term monitoring (LTM) programs in several university hospital settings in the United States. She is an accomplished medical administrator with a strong background in strategic operations management. Her consulting experience with The Joint Commission accreditations standards provides for a knowledge base of governmental, regulatory and hospital compliance. Sabrina has published numerour peer reviewed articles in neurodiagnostics and authored multiple book chapters. She is a two time recipient of ASET’s Maureen Berkeley award.
Dr. Justin Silverstein, D.H.Sc, CNIM, FASET | Neuro Protective Solutions
Dr. Silverstein earned his doctorate degree from A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona, USA and is board certified in intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring. Dr. Silverstein holds more than a decade of expertise in the field of neurophysiology. He was the first neurophysiologist to describe the utility of somatosensory evoked potentials and motor evoked potentials to monitor femoral nerve function in lateral lumbar interbody fusion surgery.
Dr. Silverstein regularly contributes to scientific papers and professional journals. He is a regularly invited lecturer to regional, national, and international symposia. He is currently the co-chair for the IONM interest section for ASET – The Neurodiagnostic Society, Board member of the American Society of Neurophysiological Monitoring (ASNM) and President of the New York Chapter of ASET-The Neurodiagnostic Society.
James Watt, BS, CNIM, R.EP.T | Advanced Monitoring Services
James has served on many boards within the neurodiagnostics community and is currently President-Elect for the Southern Chapter of ASET (SSET) and will serve as President of the Chapter from 2021-2023. In the past he has served as a board member for ASNM, editor of ASNM’s publication “The Monitor”, chair of ASNM’s Applied Philanthropy Committee, and a member of ASNM’s Online Education Committee. Additionally, he is an internationally known presenter in the field of IONM.
Currently, James serves as the Chief Innovation Officer for Advanced Monitoring Services in Northwest Arkansas. His past roles include the VP of Neuromonitoring Services for Comprehensive Neuro Monitoirng, co-owner of LHI Online, & Clinical Product Designer and Regional Director at Biotronic NeuroNetwork. When he is not working, James enjoys traveling with his lovely wife Lisa, gardening, reading and running.
In addition to his passion for education, James believes that it is extremely important to volunteer both in and out of the field of neurodiagnostics. He has traveled to Ghana, Barbados, and Malawi to volunteer as a neuromonitorist and educator. Whenever possible, James volunteers his time traveling around the country to speak and teach for regional and national neurodiagnostic societies. He has been fortunate to learn from many experts in the field, and he tries to share what he has learned with new and developing technologists.
Brett Netherton, MS, CNIM, FASNM, FASET, FACNS | Signal Gear, LLC
Brett considers himself lucky to have been able to study Electrical Engineering and Physiology too. He also considers himself super lucky to get into IONM and have the ability to study electrical and electrode stuff related to neurodiagnostics. Brett is also the founder of Signal Gear, LLC and his contributed to the advancement of the field of neurodiagnostics.
We consider ourselves lucky to have Brett as a contributor. Ask him a question; he enjoys talking neurodiagnostic technical talk.

Clare Gale, CNIM, R.EEG/EP.T, FASNM, FASET | eWaveForm, LLC
Clare has been in the field of neurodiagnostics for over thirty-nine years and owns eWaveForm, LLC, serves as a neurodiagnostic consultant for several companies, and has served on multiple society boards over her career. She has been involved with SSET for over eight years and has served as president from 2016-2018. She is currently a board member of ASNM and adjunct faculty for Laboure College in Massachesetts
Cindy Jenkinson, R.EEG.T, CLTM, CNIM | Brainwave Works
Cindy has been in the neurodiagnostics field for over thirty-six years and has been involved with SSET for the past eight years. She is the current SSET President and lives in Largo, Florida with her husband ant two dogs. She enjoys traveling and time with her grandchildren.
Cindy works for Brainwave Works as a neurodiagnostic consultant.
Lorenzo Randall, CNIM | University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center
Lorenzo has been in the neurodiagnotic field for over twenty-two years and has been involved with SSET for the past several years. He lives in Wylie, Texas and works at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center as a neurodiagnostic technologist and teaches at Concorde Career College.
He enjoys hunting and fishing when he is not working.
